60% of students are girls.
g = .6(g+b)
g = .6g + .6b
g - .6g = .6b
.4g = .6b
Replace g with (b+72)
.4(b + 72) = .6b
.4b + 28.8 = .6b
28.8 = .6b - .4b
28.8 = .2b
b = 28.8/.2
b = 144 boys enrolled
