Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = all the muffins
A dog ate 12. That was 3/10 of them all.
(3/10)x = 12 {three-tenths times all the muffins is 12}
By the way, there were 40 muffins....piggy dog.
