Question 901397: I am unsure of how to set up an equation for this word problem:
"Suppose you are nearing the end of a course in which the teacher counts the final exam as 40% of your course grade. Your average grade fro all but the final exam is 74. Determine the minimum score needed on your final exam to get a grade of 80 for the course."

if the final is worth 40% (.4)then everything else is worth 60% (.6)
.6*74+.4f=80
44.4+.4f=80
.4f=35.6
f=89
