let v = the amt of 12% vinegar
then
(350-v) = amt of 5%

.12v + .05(350-v) = .08(350)
.12v + 17.5 - .05v = 28
.12v - .05v = 28 - 17.5
.07v = 10.5
v = 10.5/.07
v = 150 ml of the 12% vinegar
