Question 887200: If 33(a/b)=6, what is the value of 100(b/a)?
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
33 * (a/b) = 6
what is the value of 100 * (b/a)
take 33 * (a/b) = 6 and multiply both sides of it by (b/a).
you will get 33 = 6 * (b/a)
if you solve for (b/a), you will get:
(b/a) = 33/6 = 5.5
the value of 100 * (b/a) is therefore equal to 100 * 5.5 = 550.
