2x = B's amt
:
B spends .75(2x) = 1.5x
let e = A expenditure
the expenditure relationship; 4:3
=
cross multiply
3e = 4(1.5x)
3e = 6x
e = 2x is A's expenditure
:
saveings
A: 3x - 2x = x
B: 2x -1.5x = .5x
