Question 850413: Orange drink costing 648 per bottle is diluted with water in the ratio 8 parts if orange to 1 part of water. The diluted orange is sold at 720 per bottle. calculate the percentage profit

Divide 648 by (1 + 8). The reason we use ( 1 + 8 ) is
we have the original 1 part plus 8 new parts.
9 parts * 720 = 6480 gross sales of diluted bottles.
( 6480 - 648 )/648 = 900% profit.
