Question 842486: If I had a 70% in a class, but I had made a 100% on a extra credit project for the class that counted 40%, what would my grade in that class be now?
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if your project is worth 40% of your total grade, then your grade in class has to be worth 60% of your total grade.
in that case, your total grade would be calculated as follows:
.60 * 70 + .40 * 100 = 42 + 40 = 82.
