You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You could have 3%2F2=0.6%2Fx or 3%2F2=x%2F0.6
Take 3%2F2=0.6%2Fx first.
3%2F2=0.6%2Fx
multiply each side by 2x
2x%2A3%2F2=2x%2A0.6%2Fx
x%2A3=2%2A0.6
divide each side by 3
x%2A3%2F3=2%2A0.6%2F3
x=2%2A0.6%2F3
x=1.2%2F3
x=0.4
So we have 0.4:0.6
Now take 3%2F2=x%2F0.6
3%2F2=x%2F0.6
multiply each side by 2(0.6)
2%280.6%293%2F2=2%280.6%29x%2F0.6
%280.6%293=2x
divide each side by 2
%280.6%293%2F2=x
1.8%2F2=x
0.9=x
So we have 0.9:0.6
