Re Reply: another way of thinking about it is:
Cost/Liter = $1.40/2.5L = $0.56 per Liter & 6 will cost: 6(.56) = $3.36
2.5 litres of coke costs 1.40 how much will 6 litres cost?
|Cross Multiplying to solve
2.5x = 6(1.40)
x = 6(1.40)/2.5
x = $3.36
