Given:
bag of chips = 100% or the total number of chips
red = 4/7
blue = 1/3
yellow = 12 chips
Solution:
red + blue + yellow = 1
-
4/7 + 1/3 + yellow = 1
-
yellow = 1 - 4/7 + 1/3 LCD= 21
-
yellow = (21-12-7)/21
-
yellow = 2/21
yellow = 12 chips
Let x = total number of chips
Ratio:




R=red chips



B=blue chips

yellow = 2/21 in fraction
