If you had 39 sweets and they Need to be shared between two people how would you calculate it ?
You might keep 13 for yourself and give each 13 each to those
two people. Or you might eat one yourself and give 19 to the
others. But I'm assuming you are not going to do that but
to divide it evenly into two parts.

You would do this division:

  19
2)39
  2
  19
  18
   1

39÷2 = =

So you would give each person 19 sweets, cut the remaining one in half,
and give of it to each person.
