working from left to right.....
resolve the parentheses first.
160/20 = 8
expression becomes:
16 - 4 + 8 * 4
do multiplication next:
8 * 4 = 32
expression becomes:
16 - 4 + 32
do addition next:
16 - 4 = 12 + 32 = 44
answer is 44.
