the ratio of two no is 3:5, and their difference is 46. find the larger no.
let x=larger no.
y=smaller no.
3/5=y/x
x-y=46
y=x-46
3/5=(x-46)/x
3x=5x-230
2x=230
x=115
larger no.=115
