A plumber has 2 whole number 1/4 meter length of copper piping. He uses 2/3 of this for a job. What length is left?
-----------
If you mean 2 1/4 meters:
2 1/4 = 9/4
----
If 2/3 is used, 1/3 is left.
(9/4)*(1/3) = 9/12
= 3/4 meter
