8 cars = 5% of the cars parked in two spaces.

Part/Whole = Percent/100 [Use the formula for percents]
8/x=5/100 [Plug-in the values]
(8)(100)=5x [Cross-multiply]
800=5x [solve for x]
800/5=x
160=x (total number of cars)

x/160=95/100 [Plug-in the values of the 95% of the cars parked in one space]
100x=(160)(95)
100x=152000
x=152 cars are parked in one space

I am not sure if this is the easiest way to do this, but here's one way to do this.
If 95% parked in 1 space, then 100%-95%=5% parked in two spaces.
Let the total number of cars be x:
then
.05x=8
.50x/.05=8/.05
x=160
Once you find that then, 160-8=152 parked in one space.
You can also say, .95(160)=152 parked in one space.
