You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is a ratio and proportions questions not a volume question.

Let h = height of cake

6 inches/8 inches = 2 feet/h

Solve for h.

We first convert 2 feet to inches.

There are 24 inches in 2 feet.

This is our new propportion: 6/8 = 24/h

192 = 6h

32 = h

The cake is 32 inches tall.
If you need the answer in feet, divide 32 inches by 12 inches and your answer in terms of feet is 2.66 feet tall.
