Question 585927: In 2004, John sold 390 bikes However, in 2005 he only 273 bikes. What was the percent of decrease?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Percent Decrease = [(Old - New)/Old] * 100
Percent Decrease = [(390-273)/390] * 100
Percent Decrease = [117/390] * 100
Percent Decrease = 0.3 * 100
Percent Decrease = 30%
