Question 576493: One marble is randomly drawn and then replaced from a jar containing two white marbles and one black marble. A second marble is drawn. What is the probability of drawing a white and then a black?
I'm absolutely lost. Thanks for the help!

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(White then black) = P(White AND Black)

P(White then black) = P(White)*P(Black)

P(White then black) = (2/3)*(1/3)

P(White then black) = 2/9
