"Chelsea eats 1/8 of the pizza, and Jeff eats 1/2 of the pizza" ___ 1/2 is 4/8
___ so C and J ate 5/8 of the pizza
___ that means T ate 3 eighths

so 3/8 of the pizza cost $6.63(nicely divisible by 3)
