25 litres of salt solution contain 6% salt. How many litres of water must be added so as to get a resultant solution containing 5% salt.
-------
Equation:
water + water = water
0.94*25 + x = 0.95(25+x)
-------
Multiply thru by 100 to get:
94*25 + 100x = 95*25+95x
5x = 25
x = 5 liters (amt. of water needed)
