Well, first we need to work out how far they have travelled so far:
Take that away from the total trip gives us the remaining distance:
They have 10 days to cover 3600 miles, and we want to know how far they need to travel in 1 day:
Therefore they need to travel an average of 360 miles a day for the remainder of the trip.
