A jeweler paid $1455 for a watch. He wants to price the watch for sale so that he can five the customer a 25% discount on the sellin gprice and still amke a profit of 30% on his cost. What selling price should he mark for the watch?
I can only figure this one out by calculator, and I am having difficulty figuring out the type of formula to use to answer this question?

He needs the price to be 125% of the cost of the watch after he has
added a profit of 30% on the original cost.
He need 1.25(1.3)(1455)
