Instructions: I am supposed to solve the following application:
A chemist has 300ml of solution that is 18% acid. How many ml of acid are in the solution?
I took 300 and divided by 18% which I got 16.67 ml of acid. AM I CLOSE IN THE DETERMINATION OF THIS WORD PROBLEM?

A chemist has 300ml of solution that is 18% acid. How many ml of acid are in the solution?
You should multiply:
0.18(300) = 54 ml
