A 12 pound puppy is gaining weight at a rate of 2/3 pound per week. How much more time will it take for the puppy's weight to exceed 37 pounds?

let it take x weeks to exceed 37 lbs.
initial weight = 12 lb
2/3 lb per week
12+2x/3>37
2x/3>37-12
2x/3>25
2x>75
x>75/2
it will take more than 37.5 weeks.
