A does 1/2 the work in 3/4 of the time. In the same time A does 1/2x4/3 or 2/3 the work of B.
1/x+1/2x/3=1/18
1/x+3/2x=1/18
18+27=x
45=x
B takes 45 days to do the work alone-
A takes 67.5 days working alone..
