A family of five people has $200 to spend on fishing rods and fishing license. The spend a total of $20 on licenses. Assuming the buy 5 identical rods, what is the maximun amount they can spend on each rod?

Subtract the 20 they spent on licenses, then divide the remaining $180 by 5.
