You earn:
2,300*26=59.800 per year.
You pay:
625*12=7,500 rent per year.
If we divide the total rent for the year by the total salary for the year we get the %.
7,500/59,800=.1254 or 12.54% of your salary pays the rent.
The percentage by week, biweekly, monthly of annually is the same percent.
The only way to get one of the available choices of answers is:
625/2300=.27 or 27% which is the percent of the total rent out of the biweekly pay.
