1) Suppose you are taking a course that has 4 Tests. the first 3 Tests have 100 points each and the fouth has 200 points. to get an A in the course, a student must have an average of at least 90 percent on the four Tests. your scores on the first 3 Tests were: 87 , 92 and 84. what must you score on the fourth Test to get an A in Course?

the fourth test grade counts twice because there are twice as many questions

(87 + 92 + 84 + x + x) / 5 ≥ 90

263 + 2x ≥ 450

2x ≥ 187 ___ x ≥ 93.5
