A $52 sweater is marked down 25%. what is the new price?
May you please do it step by step so i can understand?
1. First calculate the discount amount:
discount = .25 *52
discount = 13
2. Now substract the discount from the original price to get the discounted price:
discounted price = price - discount
discounted price = 52 - 13 = $39
