x/y = 8/5
5x = 8y
x = onions
y = radishes

x : y = (8*0.8) : (5*1.2)
x : y = 6.4 : 6
x / y = 6.4 / 6
note :
to make a number increase 20 % can be done by :
1. X + X(20%) --->common way
2. X * 1.20 --->more practice way
to make a number decrease 20 % can be done by :
1. X - X(20%)
2. X * 0.8
to make a number decrease 38 % can be done by :
1. X - X(38%)
2. X * 0.62 ------> 1-0.38=0.62
