What is 35% of a number if 12 is 15% of a number?
You can always do these problems by first finding how much 1% is.
If 12 if 15%, then 12/15 is 1%.
1% = 4/5.
Then, 35% is 35*(4/5) = 28.

Can you please help me with this one as well?
If 45% is 120% of a number, what is 80% of the same number?
I don't think the 45 is a %.
45 is 120, so 1% is 45/120 = 3/8.
80% is 80*(3/8) = 30.
