The cost to fix your car was $235.75 for labor and $132.12 for parts. your friend however said he can fix your car for a total of $342.25.
what is the percent increase or decrease if your friend fixed your car? specify increase or decrease.

(367.87-342.25)/367.87
25.50/367.87=.0693 or 6.93% is the decrease in estimated price from your friend.
