X=184.62 IS THE ORIGINAL PRICE.

I'm assuming that $120 is the discounted price.

You're on the right track. However, you need to subtract 0.35 from 1 to get 0.65. So the equation should be:

Divide both sides by 0.65 to isolate x.

So the original price was $184.62 (notice how this is greater than the discounted price)
