Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
9:3 give sa total of 9+3=12
108/12=9 now we multiply each factor by 9 @ get
9*9=81 for the number of boys.
3*9=27 for the number of girls.
proof:
total=81+27=108
9:3=81/27
9*27=3*81 cross multiply.
243=243
