Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5 dollars per hour from 10 am to 5 pm
7 dollars an hour after 5 pm.
he rents a lane for 3 hours starting at 4 pm.
from 4 pm to 5 pm he pays 5 dollars.
from 5 pm to 7 pm he pays two times 7 = 14 dollars.
total cost if 5 + 14 = 19 dollars.
