The sweets that they share are 3x and 7x, with x as the common measure.


We are given that 3x = 60;  hence,  x = 60/3 = 20.


ANSWER.  Simbi has 60 sweets (we just know it from the problem);

         Ibukun has 20*7 = 140 sweets (it is what we just determined).
