12 miles = 12*5280 feet = 63360 feet.


12 miles per hour = 63360 feet per 3600 seconds =   feet per second = 17.6 feet per second.


The distance in feet covered in 45 seconds is  17.6 * 45 = 792 feet.    ANSWER
