Out of 260 racers who started the marathon, 228 completed the race, 26 gave up, and 6 were disqualified. What percentage did not complete the marathon?
"Gave up" indicates that they didn't get to the finish line.
Disqualified suggests that they completed the race but for some reason or another, were disqualified.
If these assumptions are correct, you should be able to calculate the percentage of racers who completed the race!
