Amt = x gals ; active ingredient = 0.125x gals

Water DATA:
Amt ; 1200 gal ;active = 0 gals

8% Mixture DATA:
Amt = 1200 + x ; active = 0.08(1200+x) = 96 + 0.08x gals

EQUATION:
active + active = active
0.125x + 0 = 96+0.08x
0.045x = 96
x = 2133 1/3 gallons ( amt of 12.5% that needed for the mix)
