If so, write 2 and then a decimal, like this:

   2.

The first digit after the decimal tells how many
tenths you have.  But since you have no tenths, 
only hundredths, you put a 0 as the first digit
after the decimal, like this:

   2.0

That 0 shows you have no tenths.

Now, the second digit after the decimal tells how many
hundredths you have.  And that's what you have 6 of.  
You have 6 hundredths, so you put a 6 after the 0 which
you put for the tenths, and now you have this:

   2.06    <--final answer

That's the same as 

They are both read "Two and six hundredths".
