Contrary to what some might think, a formula DOES NOT exist for every math problem.

This problem is simple SIMPLIFICATION. You just need to do what has been done for many generations when ADDING fractions: Find the LCD (Lowest Common Denominator)

for all the fractions, convert any fraction that DOES NOT contain that LCD to a fraction which contains it. 

Then, since the denominators will all be the same, just add the numerators and place the sum over the LCD.

That's it!!

Unless the end-result is an IMPROPER fraction, in which case you convert it to a MIXED NUMBER, if requested.
