Question 1070424: A company used to reduce 50 toys per hour after firing some employees the company is able to produce 35 toys per hour what was the percent of change for the company's production rate
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

1. Subtract the NEW amount and the OLD amount, (larger minus smaller)
2. Divide by the OLD amount.
3. Multiply by 100%.

NEW amount = 35, OLD amount = 50

1. 50-35 = 15
2. 15/50 = 0.3
3. 0.3 × 100% = 30%
