Question 1066445: if I am in business and usually order 108 bananas but want to increase the order by 1 1/2 times what is that increase fractionally and how did you get the answer
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
108 bananas*1.5=108+(54)=162
when you multiply by 1.5, you are multiplying by 3/2 or, you take what you have and add half of that to it. That is what I did above. 108*(3/2)=324/2=162.
