If I understand correctly:
Kripa has money. Total: 100%
Of this, she got from her mother: 40%, meaning that 60% was the original amount she had
----------------------------
920+300+0.25x = 1x
1220+0.25x = 1x
1220 = 0.75x
0.75x = 1220
x = 1626.66 of this, she got 40% from her mother:
1626.66*0.4 = 650.66
So, she originally had: 1626.66-650.66 = 976.00
