"Seven out of every eleven adults in the room were women. Five out of seven adults were republicans. If there were only republicans and democrats in the room and there were less than 100 adults in the room how many adults were in the room?"

If these precise fractions hold, then the people in the room must be a multiple of both 11 and 7.
There were 77 people.
