Work out how many laps they would of done next time they would of done when they are at the start line together.

I believe it is

Matt cycles 8 laps, which totals 400 sec, and
Matt is back at start line with Dan
Dan cycles 5 laps, which totals 400 sec, and
Dan is back at start line with Matt
