100 usd monthly
100 x 1/2 = 50 (rice)
50 usd left
50 x 1/4 = 12.5 (beans)
50 - 12.5 = 37.5 usd left
37.5 x 1/2 (2/4)
= 18.75 (meat)
Leaving 18.75 usd.
Fraction of pay
spent on meat.
18.75/100 x 100
= 18.75%
