To get a drivers license, an applicant must pass a written test and a driving test. Past records show that 80% of the applicants pass the written test and 60% of those who have passed the written test pass the driving test. Based on there figures, how many applicants in a random group of 1,000 applicants would you expect to get driver's licenses?

So, out of applicants you would expect that
would pass the written test.

Past records also indicate that of those who have passed the written test,
pass the driving test.
So, if out of the applicants have passed the written test,
you would expect that
would pass the driving test.
