since all the parts are in equal proportions, you can imagine that you need six parts (3+2+1) in order to make a whole. divide 27 by 6 to get 4.5
this means you will need :
4.5 parts cement
9.0 parts sand
13.5 parts gravel
the parts in this case are cubic feet
